Why did you think it was important to join the PHNX jury this year?
One of the most fun things in our business is to see all the creative work that people come up with. Participating in awards and in juries is a big part of the industry. But being a PHNX jury is even more relevant and inspiring because of it being the only jury of its kind.
What do you think of our hybrid jury, featuring creatives but also strategists, clients and people from all corners of the industry?
Creative work can only benefit from different minds coming together. When you put all the different perspectives of our industry together, judging becomes more fun and less linear.
What do you think of the idea of free entry until the shortlist stage?
This opens up the possibility for more creative work being showcased and more opportunity to agencies that don’t have big award budgets.
How would you define the perfect PHNX Awards winner?
Someone that is able to make an entire industry feel something about their idea. Something that makes us all want to keep sharing it with people that are not from the industry. And that we all wished we had thought about ourselves.
What is having the biggest impact on creative trends at the moment?
AI/AR have definitely been a constant topic. From how amazing it is, to safety, royalties and more.
Who would you nominate as your two or three “creatives of the year”?
As it is still the beginning of the year, I’d prefer waiting to see what 2024 has planned for us creativity-wise.
