Mark Slater is a British-born pianist, cellist, conductor, and composer. He studied at the London College of Music and was a Chorister at Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford.
He has conducted and recorded original music with the London Symphony Orchestra at Abbey Road, the Prague Philharmonic and Metropolitan Orchestras, and the Budapest Film Orchestra.
He worked in Hollywood for 10 years as a composer, orchestrator, arranger, and producer. He now lives in Tokyo, Japan, and is a professor of Film Music, Conducting, and Piano, at the And Vision International Music School.
