About me
Shane O’Riordan and I am a freelance Designer Director based in Dublin. I specialise in branding systems, illustration, typography, digital design, UI, and art direction.
Previously roles include Design Director of Nike at R/GA. Before that I was Creative Director of Design at AKQA (Amsterdam), - where I spent the last 18 months, building the craft pillar within the agency, working on brands like Nike, Air Jordan, Gucci and Alexander McQueen.
I have also been Design Director at Droga5 Dublin - Ireland’s leading creative agency. I have also worked as Visual Design Associate Manager in the design & innovation agency Fjord and have also set up and headed the
design department within Dublin based creative agency Boys & Girls.
My work has been globally awarded by D&AD, Cannes Lions (incl. 2X Grand Prix), Clio, Fast Co., The One Show, Epica, Eurobest and The International Society of Typographic Designers in London (ISTD) to name a few.
