Why did you think it was important to join the PHNX jury this year?
It seems important to me to be able to contribute a different perspective; festivals often have the same jurors as always. This festival is very important to me, both to contribute and to inspire myself.
What do you think of our hybrid jury, featuring creatives but also strategists, clients and people from all corners of the industry?
I think it's really great, it adds a lot to the festival to have so many points of view, it's one of the best things about the festival.
What do you think of the idea of free entry until the shortlist stage?
It's the second most interesting thing at the festival, in my experience many ideas haven't been able to enter other festivals precisely because of the fees they charge, and the fact that this festival is free allows us to see brilliant ideas from all over the world. It truly enriches the festival in every aspect.
How would you define the perfect PHNX Awards winner?
Exactly because of all the responses to the previous questions, the winners are undisputed. With many evaluation perspectives, winning is simply about having done it incredibly well
What is having the biggest impact on creative trends at the moment?
From my point of view, the most brilliant ideas originate from social media. The internet is a completely transparent world, with no half measures. What is liked and what is disliked is truly evident, and when creating ideas, it's definitely something to take into account
Who would you nominate as your two or three “creatives of the year”?
In my opinion, here's my top three:
1.World Mental Health Day - Norwich City
2.Proudly Second Best – IKEA
3.Stickers Salvavidas – Makro
