I’m the owner and chief creative officer at Curmudgeon Group, a boutique creative agency based out of Chicago. As an executive producer, creative director and strategist, I love nothing more than crafting and producing award-winning creative for impact-driven clients and brands. I’m also an OCD copyeditor, so send me your words with caution!
As anyone will tell you, I’m all in for big ideas, and am really driven by the exciting seeds of ideation, creative development, and collaboration that spur long but rewarding days of production. In the end, I lead my team to hone, execute, and bring brand stories to life for clients who are looking to make a positive, sustained impact on the world.
I didn’t come up the traditional advertising ladder - instead, I got my start teaching music and theatre, living in over 7 states while producing large public and performance work across the US and Latin America, a good stint in academia, and a few rounds in the non-profit sector. My dedication to conservation dates back to childhood and has always been a driving force in my life. I bring a fresh perspective to the table and can talk shop with clients in industries ranging from wealth management to conservation to higher education and beyond.
I continue to make time for producing new artistic work - right now, I’m excited to be a part of the team for the feature-length documentary film, Head to Head (check it out at www.headtoheadfilm.com ). I’m the crossword fanatic sitting next to you on the plane, the woman sketching on the bar napkin, and the skier climbing through the backwoods of Montana.
I’m always available for freelance work and new client inquiries, so please reach out! I look forward to working together.
