...Junior Creative from London with a Planning and Strategy background.
I am a bilingual 2016 graduate of Advertising and Marketing Communications with entry level experience. I also have a certificate of Higher Education in Media Communications (Journalism, Creative Writing and PR). As of June, 2016 I completed a week at the Institute of Direct & Digital Marketing as one of 30 selected candidates from around the UK, gaining insight into the industry from professionals.
Recently, my work was a runner up for the Dots 'Spirit of Soho' competition. This summer, my group and I won an advertising pitch for the Economist magazine, empowering women - without the 'e' word - and creating a strategy focused on legacy and reflection ('Small People… Make Big Business'). For years, I have written consumer ad copy on websites from money.co.uk as a student to improve not only my creative craft, but also persuasive writing in short bursts. This is complimented by experience in strategy, teamwork and creativity for organisations like Charlton Athletic and ESDES.
In my own time, I work alongside a popular American webzine in creating content, strategy and as a columnist (to keep my writing fresh!). I can be very hands on and pride myself on being someone who 'does' and is able to motivate others. I'm a team player and a professional one at that - no time for ego.
As a feminist, I'm keen on emphasising the voice of women through media and Marketing and also the representation of minorities at the workplace, as I believe they bring valuable insight and diversity.
Creative yet pragmatic, I am looking into the next steps of my career determined to give my best to my future employers.
