Andrea Pedrazzini is the CEO of Publicis Communications Switzerland (based in Lausanne), recently promoted from CEO Saatchi & Saatchi Geneva and GSK Global Client Lead. Andrea joined Publicis Groupe in 2012, having made the unusual step of crossing over from the client side, where he led the brand strategy for Medtronic EMEA. He also launched Medtronic’s first medical devices e-business, NayaMed.
Prior to Medtronic, Andrea spent several years at Unilever managing and launching new marketing mixes for brands such as Signal, Pepsodent, SUN and Svelto for the in-home and personal care categories .
Andrea studied Business and Administration at the Università Commerciale L. Bocconi and has a Masters degree in International Marketing from the same university. His career in marketing began in 2002 with Galbani, as International Brand Manager responsible for Santa Lucia, one of Galbani’s key European brands.
Andrea is a native Italian and speaks fluent French and English. He has travelled around the world and lived in Baton Rouge, Brussels, Ottawa, Pisa, Milan and Paris. He has been based in Switzerland since 2007 with his partner and daughter.
In his free time, he loves to cook, play music, ride his Trek Madone and jump around on the bed with his six year old daughter.
