Lars started his career at Ogilvy as Chief Digital Creative Officer for Ogilvy North America. In that role he provided digital expertise and leadership for all of Ogilvy’s North American operations. Lars has been working in the interactive marketing industry for more than 13 years. After starting up Grey Interactive in Scandinavia, he joined Framfab in Copenhagen, Denmark as Creative Director. There he worked on some of the world’s most recognized brands, including Nike, LEGO, Coca-Cola and Carlsberg. In 2004 Lars was hired as co-chief creative officer to open up an AKQA office in New York. Lars grew the office successfully, pitching and winning global AOR relationships with clients like Coca-Cola, Smirnoff and Motorola. Lars is one of the most award-winning creatives in the digital marketing industry with a multitude of international awards to his name, including three Cyber Lions Grand Prix from Cannes. Lars has judged all the major international award shows, and he is a frequent speaker at industry events. Lars most recently joined the Ad Council’s Campaign Review Committee to ensure the integrity and creativity of the Ad Council’s public service advertising.
