About me

I love advertising. Especially when it's honest, creative and simple.

I love talking about advertising with people who are just as passionate as me. In fact, I’m such
a fan of this that I give talks about the history of advertising for FREE.

I’ve been awarded at national and international festivals over the years and put this down to the incredible people I’ve had the chance to lead and learn from — here are some of the achievements I’ve reached alongside the best creatives in Mexico, Brazil, and Peru.

Today...

I currently work at VMLY&R Mexico as the Head of the Digital area for Movistar Telecom, the second-largest telephone and digital services company in LATAM.

And during this time, I’ve had the opportunity to launch different campaigns for products and services, among which I’d highlight an inclusion campaign to support the LGBTQIA+ community. One of the Hero Online Films we made is the most awarded online film from Mexico at international festivals.

This campaign put VMLY&R Mexico top-of-mind for creative judges, subsequently named:

➣ Best Latin American Agency in the Art Directors Club, 8th worldwide
➣ Top 10 Latin agencies in One Show
➣ Best Mexican agency in D&AD
➣ 3rd in the world at the Shot’s American Awards

In 2022, I took on the challenge of launching a social media HUB for Movistar and all its products and services, which doubled reach and positive sentiment — precisely our objective.
Since 2022, I’ve worked on global projects for Coca-Cola brands as well.

In early 2018; I formed part of Grey Mexico as Group Creative Director, working for Mexican and LATAM Uber brands. I ran campaigns for Google in Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia among others, in collaboration with AKQA Grey Brazil.

I’m proud to have also launched the first natural juice drink with mineral water from DEL VALLE (a Coca-Cola Company brand) in Mexico and worked for brands like Nutresa's Group (chocolate brands) General Mills, Volvo, DiDi, Strendus Online Casinos, Pringles, and Save The Children.

Yesterday…

Before this adventure, I led the creative team at the Mexican agency Sparkling — one of the fastest growing independent firms in the recent years.

Flashback…

From 2009 to 2014 I formed part of the Y&R Peru team, leading a creative team of 7 people, and supporting many brands.

I also taught at 5 advertising institutes, including Miami Ad School México.

I am open to networking and meeting people who are on this creative path alongside me.
