Born in 1984 in France, Flavien Rousé is an accomplished artist with a background in Film and Theatre from France and Photography and Video Art from Belgium. With a 15-year career transitioning from fashion photography to directing films and commercials, his diverse body of work includes film/digital photography, film/video, and installations, with a focus on landscapes, portraiture, and still life.
Flavien explores the concept of “parallelism” in his works, reflecting life's multifaceted nature and the simultaneous experiences it presents. He examines the formation of meaning in our information-saturated world, often using autofiction and delving into the essence of imagery and artistic mediums.
