Steven Tralongo is a writer/director based in Southern California.

Caleb Deschanel once told him, “Remember we’re not trying to recreate reality, we’re trying to discover truth.” Steven has tried to use those words as his work’s guiding principle.

Steven’s work has garnered recognition from SHOOT Magazine / SHOOTonline when he was chosen to be part of their New Directors Showcase for 2022, as well as being shortlisted and earning special commendation at the 2023 Porsche Awards and Young Director Awards. He was also featured as the director of the month for shots creative’s July 2023 installment of “shots Unsigned”.

In addition to his commercial work, Steven is currently polishing his debut feature script “Night Beat”, which was awarded with a semifinal placement in Outstanding Screenplays Feature Script Competition as well as placing in Screencraft’s Feature Screenplay and Screenplay Fellowship Competitions. He also has a short script on Coverfly’s Red List, he is working to bring that to screen in the coming months.
