Mbali holds a BA degree in Strategic Brand Communications (2017) from Vega School of Brand Leadership. In 2018, she completed a Higher Certificate in Business Management with Milpark Business School. She also completed a Leading with Agility in 4iR course in 2020.
Her 1st stint in advertising was with The Hardy Boys where she worked on brand building and influencer marketing initiatives. She joined TBWA Hunt Lascaris in 2018 as an intern and was subsequently appointed as a Junior Strategist. In 2020, she became a Mid-Level Strategist with Yellowwood which has seen her lean into creative strategy.
She has worked on brands in financial services, automotive, alcohol and broadcasting sectors amongst others which has bred fluidity, flexibility and clarity of intent to complement her abilities.
Mbali’s passion for advertising stems from an inherent desire to constantly find creative solutions to brand problems. Her knack for culture, trends and cracking insights is an incredible recipe for magic.
