Adam Ferrie is an Associate Creative Director at Special Group Australia. Throughout his career he has worked across a range of brands the likes of Netflix, Uber Eats, Toyota, L'Oréal, Bonds and the Royal Australian Mint, - pro-actively creating one of the most talked about campaigns of 2020/21 in ‘Donation Dollar’, the world’s first legal tender currency designed to be donated, not spent.
His work has been recognised with 220+ awards, most notably in 2021 picking up 5 Cannes Lions with 2 Gold, 2 Silver and a Bronze, 8 D&ADs including 3 Yellow, 3 Graphite and 2 Wood, a swag of Clios including Gold for Innovation, Best of Discipline at The One Show, 4 Grand Prix at Spikes Asia, 16 LIAs and taking home the Best In Show at New York Festivals among many more.
This success sees him ranked #1 Copywriter (APAC) in the One Club Rankings 2021.
In addition to speaking at numerous awards shows about his creative works, this year he also sat as a Juror on the Young Lions Live Awards. He is also an accomplished Award School Tutor, guiding the next generation of Australian creative talent - achieving the honour of Tutor of the Year in his first year.
He is passionate about creating disruptive projects and campaigns which deliver genuine change for clients, consumers and society at large, running pro-bono workshops with charities and NFPs, as well as creating projects like ‘Made From Melbourne’, a proactive campaign to raise awareness and funds for Melbourne’s struggling live music scene.
