Hello, my name is Felipe Gómez and I am a Colombian publicist with a passion for football, creativity, and art. I strongly believe that powerful storytelling has the ability to change the world or even just one person's life.
My journey began at BRM, a local agency with high aspirations. I started off as a Community Manager for Nestlé and later transitioned into an Entry-Level Copywriter role.
From there, I worked at several local agencies with the goal of honing my creative skills and understanding the different social aspects of the consumer. This eventually led me to Glue Latam, a brand experience agency that specializes in BTL marketing, where I gained nominations for advertising festivals and had the opportunity to work with brands such as Coca-Cola, Netflix, and Mastercard.
Thanks to my experience with international brands, I landed my first leadership role at Havas Colombia. There, I managed a team of seven and worked closely with clients such as Reckitt Benckiser and CEMEX. Although my time there was brief, I learned a lot.
Following that, I joined Sancho BBDO, Colombia's most prestigious advertising agency and one of the world's most important. At Sancho BBDO, I had the opportunity to work with Alpina, Colombia's largest dairy products brand, and Mercado Libre, Latin America's largest online sales platform. I earned my first international advertising festival nomination and won awards at local festivals.
My most recent experience in Colombia was at McCann, where I led the Bimbo Colombia team and worked on special projects such as the one we did for the Fontanar Shopping Center. We turned a sustainability element into a piece of clothing that made it to international runways. Additionally, we created a regional campaign for Bimbo that was broadcasted throughout Central America and the Andean region of South America.
Currently, I reside in Montreal and work for TANK Worldwide, one of the most attractive health agencies in the world. My goal is to continue to achieve successes and accomplishments on an international level.
