It's important for a sense of belonging, to support your peers, to celebrate creativity, and to keep meticulously up to date in the intricacies of the work.
What do you think of our hybrid jury, featuring creatives but also strategists, clients and people from all corners of the industry?
The best way moving forward is to ensure ad festivals evaluate projects with the right balance between outstanding execution combined with solid business solutions.
What do you think of the idea of free entry until the shortlist stage?
More work for the jury. Kidding. I reckon it's a positive step forward to minimize politics getting in the way of creativity.
How would you define the perfect PHNX Awards winner?
The perfect PHNX Awards winner is that project you recall getting excited about on an ordinary Tuesday, to now just put a smile on your face as you think: I always knew this was great.
What is having the biggest impact on creative trends at the moment?
It's safe to say that AI is still a hot take on the festival's agenda for this year. Apart from that, may PHNX will show us the way.
Who would you nominate as your two or three “creatives of the year”?
Someone from Serviceplan, Mischief, and AKQA should definitely be on this list.
