About me

Dr. Nancy Engelhardt, has been a professor of communications and marketing for over 15 years and has taught courses such as marketing strategy, strategic communications, advertising, consumer behavior, public relations, social marketing and nonprofit marketing. She is currently a full professor of Marketing at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. She also teaches adjunct for Florida Institute of Technology, West Virginia University, Colorado State University-Global Campus and LIM College of Fashion in New York City.

Originally from New Orleans, her career in advertising and public relations spans nearly 20 years and includes corporate, nonprofit and government agencies. She has held communications positions with the Smithsonian Institution’s National Zoological Park and World Wildlife Fund (WWF) where she is still a part of the Alumni Mentor Program.
