Luffe has quickly established herself as one of the leading young editors from Scandinavia and beyond, known for work that is simultaneously contemporary, graceful, and emotionally pronounced. She frequently collaborates with international commercial directors including Martin De Thurah, Fredrik Bond, Mark Molloy, Niclas Larsson, Jonas Lindstroem, and Nina Holmgren for brands ranging from Delta, Meta, Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz to Vogue and Sephora. Winning 37 awards over the past 5 years, she's making her mark in the sphere of narrative commercial editing.
Beyond advertising, Luffe edited writer/director Gustav Möller’s 2018 high-suspense crime drama The Guilty; the intelligently crafted film was selected as the Danish submission for Best Foreign Language Film at the 91st Academy Awards. Latest she edited the feature "mother couch" starring Ewan McGregor, Ellen Burstyn, Taylor Russel, Rhyss Ifans and Lara Flynn Boyle.
Carla Luffe began her career at Lars von Trier’s Zentropa Entertainment after graduating from The National Film School of Denmark in 2015.
