Ron Gessel

I studied Graphic Design in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Initially I started my career as an art director. During my career I have worked for several major advertising agencies such as FHV BBDO, LOWE and Baas en van Haastrecht. I have frequently come in to contact with photographers working in the advertising business on global campaigns. Nowadays I am a freelance art director and photographer. I try to travel as much as I can. During my travels I am touched and fascinated by the country, the country side and its inhabitants. I see myself as a street photographer, in heart and soul. As I want to capture real life, my photos are not staged and happen spontaneously.
