As Producer and co-founder of TRUCE, there are many things I can be proud of.
The quality of our work is one thing, but I am also proud of our ability to develop on-going, mutually beneficial and fruitful relationships, some that have lasted just as long as we have been around (over seven years).
2015 short film Slingshot, written and directed by David Hansen, took out the top prize for Best Australian Film at the Academy Awards accredited festival, Flickerfest. The film has gone to win several other awards whilst also screening at prestigious festivals such as the BFI London Film Festival, Sydney Film Festival, Raindance, as well as being selected as part of the Accelerator program at the Melbourne International Film Festival.
Throughout the years I've worked closely with director Nicholas Clifford and produced his 2013 Tropfest winning film We’ve All Been There and 2012 Tropfest finalist film Kitchen Sink Drama. Which have both gone on to do well internationally on the festival circuit. Together we have a number of projects in development.
I was also a co-producer on the 2013 short film Thanks for the Ride, written and directed by Tenika Smith, which too was accepted into the Accelerator program at MIFF.
Current feature projects under option and in development include; screenwriter Heather Wilson's Another Time, Reservoir Dad from author Clint Greagan, Idiot Pride from author Matt Zurbo, and Nicholas Clifford's Bella and the Bear.
A Masters graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts, I am an active producer in advertising and branded content. And with the partners at Truce, we have a major drive to develop creative projects for film, television and the web.
On the horizon, we have further ambitions to push our business in to Sydney and also offshore.
