Named President of Havas in Montréal in 2016 and then CEO of Havas Montréal in 2017, Jan-Nicolas Vanderveken is a prominent influencer and creator of links across the digital, advertising and creative worlds. With almost 20 years of experience in communication and marketing, Jan-Nicolas provides his multidisciplinary team with the creative framework they need to innovate, as well as strategic orientation based on his in-depth knowledge of technology, code, design, gaming and copy. Previously, he was President and Founding Partner of TP1, a full service digital agency in Montreal, Canada.
His commitment to improving the quality of digital as a whole and leveraging agile creativity extends to his activities as a conference speaker and board member (A2C - Association of Creative Communications Agencies, Belgium-Québec Board of Trade and, until recently, Digital Alliance). Jan-Nicolas is an involved leader in the digital community, contributing to the evolution of the industry through projects such as I see mtl, 15x15 and the Quebec delegation to SXSW. As a passionate member of the local arts community, he also actively supports or anchors organizations such as FTA and the St-Ambroise Fringe Festival, and is the instigator of Lunch Beat Montréal.
