Nick Browne is a London-based director with a background in TV commercials and corporate films. When he’s not shooting ads he’s most likely out making his own films, writing some long or short script, messing around with his Lomo camera, searching for new music, or quoting lines from The Big Lebowski and other favourites to whoever will listen.
His broad repertoire includes various shooting styles and formats although his preferred focus is performance-based comedy commercials, something he has gained recognition for since his first shoot. Basically, he’s funny as hell as you can tell from his reel.
He has gone on to shoot award-winning ads for brands such as Unilever, Vodacom (Vodafone in South Africa) and SABMiller among others, for agencies like Jupiter Drawing Room, Grey Worldwide, Draft FCB and Lowe Bull.
Despite possessing huge drive and single-minded enthusiasm for every project he tackles, Nick is generally considered by those who know him to be in possession of an easy-going, Zen-like outlook on life other than when he’s seated behind the wheel of a moving car – a mode of transport which he thankfully doesn’t currently own.
