Sami drives technology, business and strategic thinking for client work across Havas Worldwide accounts, including Dos Equis, Hershey, TD Ameritrade and IBM. In addition to direct client work, he also develops Havas’ digital capabilities, as well as tools and processes across departments.
Before joining Havas Worldwide in fall 2014, Sami was part of the key leadership team that made TBWA Worldwide’s Helsinki agency an international digital and innovation powerhouse. By the end of his digital leadership tenure, this small northern European agency was working with many global TBWA clients, including Nissan, Adidas, McDonald’s and GSK, and reached the Top 10 Digital Agencies list in the 2013 Gunn Report.
Sami has worked on boundary-pushing and effective work on many fronts. With Nissan he headed planning for advertising, PR and events as well as DR and CRM programs; with Adidas he was involved in creating an awardwinning e-commerce solution that crossed the boundary between physical and digital; and with GSK he led a major effort to craft a mobile solution to help agarette smokers quit with the aid of GSK products.
