Growing up as a filmmaker, Raphael was taught three simple rules: Learn from Welles, build on Fellini and steal from Scorsese. Having never learnt, built or stolen anything, Raphael was forced to create his own style and parrot his own voice. With a passion for the truly cinematic and an unwavering pursuit of strong performance dialogue from his characters, Raphael is driven to take any concept, notion or idea and transform it into something magical. With that very attitude he has won awards at Cannes, Tropfest, Adfest and more, never once stealing from the greats, or at least, never once admitting to it.
