Molly Parsley

Global Director of PR at AKQA
San Francisco, United States

About me

Parsley joined Pereira & O'Dell in 2009 as the Director of Marketing & PR. She works alongside Executive, Client Services, Creative, Production and Media teams to communicate the agency's capabilities, best practices and notable work. She supports success for both agency and clients through business, advertising and consumer press outreach.

Previously, Parsley was the Marketing/PR Director at AKQA. Her efforts during her tenure facilitated many of the agency's accolades including “Agency of the Year” wins from AdAge, Adweek, OMMA and SHOOT Magazine as well as Creativity's first-ever Interactive Agency of the Year. AKQA was also named in Fast Company's "Fast 50", featuring the world's 50 most innovative companies.

Prior to AKQA, Parsley was the Marketing & PR Manager at internet advertising firm Lot21 building Lot21’s solid reputation in emerging technologies. When Lot21 was acquired by Carat in January 2002, she then re-positioned the agency’s unique combination of media and creative capabilities.

PR News named Parsley one of “15 to Watch” for making significant strides in PR for the online marketing industry and also contributed to the launch of SF BIG as the association’s original Communications Chair. Molly started her career in 1996 at USWeb and is a graduate of Indiana University's School of Journalism.

Molly Parsley is a native of Louisville, KY, which is pronounced locally as [ˈluːǝvǝl] (listen: bit.ly ).
