Simon Bond is the Chief Growth officer for IPG. He is responsible for fueling the growth of the group and helping agencies win a disproportionate amount of business.
IPG has a philosophy called ‘open architecture’ which in a nutshell means they open up the power of IPG’s network of 50,000 people to architect the right solution for clients. Each solution they build is different as every client’s problem is different, and the more they know about the problem they are looking to solve the more customized and optimized the solution can be.
Simon spearheads open architecture’ at IPG and has helped create bespoke solutions for some of the world’s biggest clients like Exxon Mobil, Sanofi, PMI, Unilever, GSK, Amazon and J&J to name a few. Solving client’s biggest problems is IPG’s currency and Simon’s job is to architect these solutions by bringing together the best talent from across the group regardless of which agency they live in.
Before joining IPG, Simon was the global CMO of BBDO Worldwide where he helped bring in over $1b worth of new media billings. He spent over 15 years with them living between London, Dubai, Singapore, Japan and NY.
