Adam Marsden

Having emerged as one of the most sought after young cinematographers, Adam has solidified his stature as dynamic and creative DP with a substantial body of work that continues to grow. Adam's work reflects his unique ability to craft compelling stories into vivid visual landscapes for noted directors Mac Carter, Duane Crichton, Richard D'Alessio, Ed Nammour, Kathi Prosser, Floria Sigismondi and Yael Staav.



His recent short film Found Objects, directed by David Birnbaum premiered at the 2007 Toronto International Film Festival. Other film projects include the feature film Washed Up directed by Michael Decarlo and the short film Waiting which also premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2005.



Filming international brand names such as Toyota, Sony Playstation, Visa, Coca-Cola, Kellogg's, Budweiser, Honda and Adidas, which won an award at Cannes, Adam's commercial reel has evolved into an impressive demonstration of his photographic skills. He was awarded a CSC Award for Best Commercial Cinematography for his captivating images on the West Nile "Standing Water" spot.



In the hyper creative world of music videos, Adam has been recognized with a Much Music Video Award for Best Cinematography for Buck 65, K-OS and Dream Warriors as well as a CSC Award for Best Music Video Cinematography for Billy Talent. Adam has been the DP on videos for Barenaked Ladies, Broken Social Scene, Our Lady Peace and Theory of A Deadman.



Adam has won numerous awards. In addition to the ones noted above, Adam has also been recognized by the Worldwide Short Film Festival Award and the New York International Independent Film Festival Award for Best Cinematography.
