Wendi Knox

Wendi grew up in Piedmont, California. She upset a family who wanted her to go to Berkeley and study law by pursuing art history at UCLA. Then she created more waves by disregarding her mother's advice to be a school teacher-"something to fall back on, dear"-by becoming enamored with copywriting. After stints at Dailey and Associates, Ogilvy & Mather, Kresser Craig, Ketchum and free-lancing at Chiat/Day and Team One, Wendi settled down and joined Rubin Postaer in 1994. Reunited with her former (and favorite) partner, Mark Erwin, her responsibilities at RPA have included Acura, Honda, UNICARE, California Pizza Kitchen, Philips Interactive and new business. However, in her umpteen years in the business, she's written copy for everything from fashion to funeral homes. Including award-winning campaigns for Dep hair care, Honda, Nissan, and the Tahiti Tourist Board, as well as experience on accounts like ARCO, Lexus, Acura, Millers Outpost and Mattel.
