Maite Spinelli Interview(s)

What motivates you to be part of the PHNX Jury, and what do you hope to bring to the judging process?
Being part of the PHNX jury is an opportunity to celebrate the diversity of perspectives that ideas can have. From my experience, I hope to provide a perspective that values both the freshness of ideas and their ability to generate a significant cultural impact, highlighting those campaigns that dare to think differently and leave their mark.
PHNX has always been about celebrating creativity in all its forms. What new perspectives or disciplines do you think deserve more recognition in award shows today?
I think that ideas that combine strategy and creativity effectively, deserve more recognition at festivals. This kind of campaigns have a more powerful impact and also connect with people in unique ways. In addition, those projects that transcend the commercial and address cultural or social issues should be celebrated, demonstrating how creativity can be relevant and transform realities.
Which countries or regions do you think are leading the creative field right now? And which emerging markets should we look out for?
I think that Brazil, Mexico and Peru are leading the way with ideas that surprise with their freshness and cultural relevance. It is exciting to see how these countries are setting trends and managing to stand out in the most important festivals.
What trends or cultural shifts do you think will define the most impactful creative work this year?
I think ideas that spark conversation and reflect a deep understanding of what is happening in society will set the tone this year. With changes as important as the new governments in key countries such as the United States and Argentina, brands have the opportunity to interpret these moments and connect with people's emotions and concerns.
If you could give one piece of advice to agencies and creatives submitting their work, what would it be?
The best advice would be to be patient, check it again and again until it is completely perfect and last but not least, trust your work.
Which creative minds are inspiring you the most right now?
I will forever be a fan of those behind the ideas of GUT. Absolute admiration for your work
