Why did you think it was important to join the PHNX jury this year?
In dark times, creativity has the power to turn the grey into colour and light up the world.
Wherever you are, at any time and without any charge.
i'm greatful to be part of the global creative community, happy to connect with other creatives from all over the world and thankful to be part of the PHNX-jury.
What do you think of our hybrid jury, featuring creatives but also strategists, clients and people from all corners of the industry?
Diversity is king: the best ideas are developed by teams that combine different perspectives and multivariate approaches.
I recognise this kind of open-mindedness in the PHNX jury-concept.
What do you think of the idea of free entry until the shortlist stage?
Great! It's a kind of democratic philosophy that puts the idea at the centre. And it helps small agencies in particular to take part in an international award.
How would you define the perfect PHNX Awards winner?
Hopefully there will never be a perfect winner, because that would be the end of this award :)
What is having the biggest impact on creative trends at the moment?
AI is of course the game changer in any kind of creative industry.
The big question is: will it be a booster or a killer?
Who would you nominate as your two or three “creatives of the year”?
I despise war.
This is out of the categories, but I would nominate the Ukrainian people: fighting with creative solutions against an overpowering aggressor while waiting for the promised support.
Second nomination goes to street artist Banksy! He is still the master of creative, non-verbal provocation that makes people think.
My special nomination goes to the German government, especially Chancellor Scholz and Vice Chancellor Habeck for storytelling and crazy word creations, such as "Doppelwumms"; unfortunately without solving the problems.
