Collaborative. This culture of collaboration is evident in our approach to projects and problem-solving. For instance, when faced with a challenging marketing campaign, we encourage team brainstorming sessions where every member, regardless of their position, is invited to share ideas and solutions. This open and inclusive atmosphere fosters a sense of belonging and collective responsibility, driving us to achieve our goals through shared effort and mutual support. It's not just about working alongside each other; it's about working together, leveraging each person's unique strengths and perspectives for the greater good of the team and our projects.
If you were stranded on a desert island and could only use one app., which app would it be?
If I were stranded on a desert island and could only use one app, I would choose a survival guide app. This type of app typically includes a wide range of essential information and tips for survival in challenging environments. It would provide guidance on finding and purifying water, identifying edible plants and animals, creating shelters, and signaling for rescue. The practical, life-saving information offered by such an app would be invaluable in a survival situation, helping to increase my chances of staying safe and healthy until rescue.
If you could choose three ads from history that you didn’t work on and add them to your portfolio, which three would you choose? Explain why
João Fernando Saddock:
1 Apple's "1984" Super Bowl Commercial: This iconic ad introduced the Apple Macintosh computer to the world. It's renowned for its creative storytelling, groundbreaking production, and the way it positions Apple as a revolutionary force against the 'status quo' represented by IBM. It exemplifies how an ad can be more than a product showcase, but a cultural statement.
2 Coca-Cola's "Hilltop" Commercial: Famous for its "I'd Like to Buy the World a Coke" jingle, this ad from 1971 stands out for its optimistic message of global unity and harmony. It's a brilliant example of emotional branding and creating a positive association with a product on a global scale.
3 Nike's "Just Do It" Campaign: Launched in 1988, this campaign is a masterclass in motivational marketing. With its concise, powerful message, it not only encapsulates the brand ethos of Nike but also speaks to the individual on a personal level, inspiring action and determination.
What is your opinion on the growing trend of agencies getting involved with developing products for clients?
Can you watch this case study for Hammerhead Navigation and tell us your thoughts on the product and the campaign?
I find the Hammerhead Navigation product quite remarkable. It theoretically simplifies a cyclist's life significantly. However, I do have some concerns regarding the need to look down while using it, which could potentially distract a cyclist. This is an important consideration from a safety design perspective. Undoubtedly, the product is creative and might offer advantages over using a standard cellphone for navigation, but it doesn't seem to completely solve the issue of maintaining attention and safety. It's crucial for such innovative products to balance functionality and user safety effectively.
